Dean Banks – President and CEO
During his 10+ years in the medical device industry, Dean has been an entrepreneur, investor and operator in medical device companies. Previous work experience includes investor, business development, management and sales roles at Highland Capital Partners, Cytyc Corporation (now Hologic), Cambridge Endoscopic Devices and Ethicon Endo-surgery. He earned his BA from Miami University, and has an MBA from Harvard University. Dean also served four years with the United States Marine Corps.

Emma Wright – VP of Biomaterials Research & Development
Emma joined Connective in June 2009 after 12 years with Smith & Nephew Endoscopy where she held various R&D and marketing positions culminating in Director of Strategic Marketing, Advanced Biomaterials. Emma has a successful track record of development of biomaterial based products for musculoskeletal tissue repair. She has a BSc Hons in Biochemistry and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology, both obtained from the University of Newcastle, UK.

Charles L. Popkin - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Popkin has worked in the healthcare and life science industries for more than 20 years and in that time has been associated with numerous healthcare and life science ventures. Before joining Connective Orthopaedics, Mr. Popkin was the Chief Financial Officer of The Merallis Company, a technology services firm, a founding management member of PQC, Inc., a healthcare management company, and a founder of Medical Claims Management, a reimbursement management firm. Earlier in his career Mr. Popkin served as a Senior Consultant for Price Waterhouse and as Senior Accountant for Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Popkin is a CPA, has a B.S. in Accountancy an A.S. in Management from Bentley College and an MBA in Finance and Business Policy from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
